When I converted my van into an off-grid home on wheels, it was a fantastic experience. I had this new ability to take my sense of home, with all my life necessities, to the middle of nowhere and find my place of peace.

After a few getaways, I realised that the feeling at home in London was not the same in the van. In the truck, there was this distant anxiety about security and the growing limitation of necessities like water, electricity and food. This anxiety made it impossible not to fully submerge into the land I was in, either planning around the shops or the water capacity in the van; it was always something.

This was not the same homely feel I imagined. I started to search for some products that could help with these issues. Only the frustration of being unable to find resources, products and services that I needed throughout the van conversion and travelling with it led to The Wildpack Co.
